Our community includes all stakeholders, locals, experts, entrepreneurs, corporates, researchers and international partners. They will be involved in the following activities
● Annual science summits and workshops will be used to bring awareness, learn and showcase all issues related to climate change and ocean-based solutions.
● Awards and competitions are important in encouraging innovation they will be used to award the most deserving startup with grant money to either grow or start their ocean-climate solution ideas, award schools or institutions which are champions of climate solutions, award individuals such as youth or professionals who make a great contribution to ocean-climate change solutions
● Coastal clean ups, tree/mangrove planting and walks will be used to bring awareness of the issues of climate change and ocean based solutions. This will include support for the annual International Coastal Clean-up, World Ocean Day, World Mangrove Day, World Fisheries Day etc
● Story telling through art such as music, movies, art and writing will be used to pass on the message of ocean literacy and climate change in a creative way
