The Ufukwe Marine Centre (UMC) is a Centre of Excellence hosted at the Technical University of Mombasa (TUM). It is an endorsed project under the Global Ecosystem of Ocean Solutions (GEOS) program. This project is endorsed by the UN Decade of Ocean Science for Sustainable Development 2021-2030, UNESCO, find here.

Harnessing the power of ocean innovation in Kenya to address the climate change crisis and achieve a sustainable and climate-positive blue economy that will create opportunities for local community, youth, innovators and entrepreneurs to develop skill sets and innovative mindsets.
